Mosaico

Mosaico is a virtual desktop manager that can help you save time and optimize your work at PC. Mosaico saves the position of the windows on your desktop so that you can restore them anytime later. Mosaico can also arrange windows so that they fill the whole screen surface, giving you more information at a time.

Support for multiple monitors (snapshot & mosaico interface - is only available for primary monitor). Auto-positioning can get messy on secondary monitor with green 'blob' staying after the window has been positioned.

Have the UI for Mosaico 'autohide' instead of just roll-up. Having an autohide toolbar off the top or the side of the screen is much better than having the program just 'hanging around' over the top of other documents.

Manual arrangement mode is completely broken when trying to move a window to secondary monitor (the green blob will not move off the primary monitor).

Make Mosaico avaliable from tray and minimizable

Surely nobody wants to keep the app open at all times on their desktop. Some UI tweaking should also be done as it's not very readable (too small).

Add classic or Windows 7-like skin for Mosaico.

Default skin is good, but some people can not like such bright color :)

Add key combinations to launch sets. Ctrl-Shift 1 could bring up my primary set of apps, Ctrl-Shift 2 secondary, Ctrl-Shift 3 web browsers, etc. Although I would still need the multiple monitor support for my development machine.

Make Mosaico avaliable from tray and minimizable

I'm not really fond of keeping the application open onmy desktop all the time. Do fi UI as well as it needs more refining - too small "control" icons.

make it so it actually works. Or for that matter, loads.

It will not load on W7 64. It just says moasaico.exe has stopped working. Tried everything.

Bug fix this much more before releasing another version. Also allow multiple 'Desktops' for easier window management.

Obviously a bug fix is needed for all of the errors. The concept of this software is fantastic, but execution is a little off. Take some time to go through the bugs. Second, I think if the program allowed multiple desktop environments, such as...

I couldn't get the download to work...possibly a system problem and not software problem, but thought you should know.

Would like to see an automatic arrangment that stacked like windows. Also make Mosaico header more transparent. Finally auto-arrange resized a dialog that I could not resize back except with 'Restore' button.

Those three things were what jumped out at me.

This would be a totally killer app for home theatre... IF it supported a secondary monitor running VLC. (You could solve the 'maximise to screen' problem VLC has on the extended desktop.)

In addition to the arrows, make the images in the 'coverflow' clickable so you can choose the arrangement that way.

Provide predefined arrangement templates so the user can quickly sample several different auto-arrange configurations.

Some apps are more suited to different sized or shaped windows than the auto-arrange creates for them. Add choices for the pattern of size and shape, so the user can quickly scroll through them and land on the one that is most suitable.

Have Mosaico dockable to a particular screen-edge, and hotkey-able to display it as well.

It would be a nice feature to have Mosaico dockable to the screen-edge, with maybe 4 or 5 pixels showing it's docked location so that all you would need to bring it up would be to hover at that edge of the screen and within the designated 4 or 5...

Without 54x Support the Program is Useless to quite a few people, like me. I would of loved to try this program out.
